Hello all,
I’ve learned to make a new dessert and it hits the spot so often. I’ve made it multiple times for different people and everyone loves it too.
I love fruit based desserts because they’re naturally sweet, are more nutrient dense than you’re average dessert, and a good source of fiber. Add in some whole grain and I am sold.
This one in particular is so versatile because you can really switch up the fruit. I’ve made it with strawberries and blueberries, just apples, and then a mixture of the three, the last one being my favorite. I think I want to try to add in peaches next time!
It’s also pretty easy to make it. I won’t say it’s super easy but it’s not too bad either. One a scale of one to ten with one being scooping ice cream out of a carton, it’s probably a 5.
Alright, on to the recipe. This makes about 5 servings (double for a 9″ pie plate like in the photo).

Enjoy my friends.

*You can use cold hard butter and a pastry blender or knives to work butter into crumb but I find the knives frustrating and difficult and I don’t have a pastry blender.
